Publication Policy
Selection Criteria
-
Research papers can be submitted throughout the year.
-
A paper submitted is scrutinized by the board of Editors of the journal and a preliminary screening is made on the basis of importance of the research issue, depth of the subject-matter, review of literature, methodology followed, citation and reference standards etc.
-
A paper selected through this preliminary screening is then sent to two anonymous referees with expertise in the specific area of research for adjudication.
-
Based on comments of the referees a paper is accepted for publication.
The Reviewing Process
-
RBUJE follows a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy.
-
A research paper is reviewed by two anonymous referees. On the basis of their recommendations the paper is Accepted/Accepted subject to minor modification/Accepted subject to significant modification/Rejected. The RBUJE aims to arrive at this initial decision within 3 months from the date of submission of the paper.
-
Necessary changes recommended by the concerned referees are intimated to the corresponding author through email. The revised version of the paper must be submitted within two weeks from the date of intimation.
-
A revised paper is examined by the same referees. On the basis of their report the paper is either Accepted or Rejected. The RBUJE aims to intimate the final decision within a month from the date of receipt of the revised paper.
Final Selection
-
On the basis of the recommendations of the concerned referees the editorial board takes the decision of publishing a paper.
-
Acceptance of a paper is intimated to the corresponding author through email.
-
A Pre-Publication Author’s Disclosure Form will be sent to the corresponding author.
-
Each author of the accepted paper will have to sign the form and scanned copy of the same has to be sent to the Chief-Editor of the journal in 2020 at pkp61@rbu.ac.in / pkp61@rediffmail.com within a week.

-
Papers published (or submitted for publication) elsewhere should not be sent. If the paper has been presented in a Conference or Seminar that should be indicated.
-
Footnotes should be indicated consecutively in the text using superscript numbers. Use of footnotes and italics should be kept at the minimum.
-
Bibliographical references should be given in full, in alphabetical order at the end of the paper.
-
Quotations must be carefully checked and citations in the text must read thus (Hicks, 1993). References in the bibliography should be done following APA citation style.
-
Tables, both in text or in appendices should be consecutively numbered using numerals on the top and appropriately titled. Sources and explanatory notes (if any) should be given below the table.
-
Mathematical expressions should be presented in a way that will be easily printable.
-
Diagrams should be clearly drawn in black with all axes clearly positioned. Diagrams should be inserted in the text with appropriate numbering and should be in compatible formats.
-
Cite sentences or words taken from other works with single quotation mark; use double quotation marks only
-
within quotations. Separate quotations exceeding fifty words from the text and indent them on the left. Unless the entire sentence is part of the quotation, the punctuation must remain outside the quotation marks.
-
Write numerals between one and ninety-nine in words, and 100 and above in figures. However, the following are to be in figures only: distance: 3 km; age: 32 years old; percentage: 64 percent; century: 20th century; and years: 1990s.
-
Write out a series of years in full, for example, 1980-1993 (not 1980-93); refer to a decade without an apostrophe, for example, the 1990s (not the 1990's); for specific dates, cite day month and year in that order, for example, 25 May 2004.
