Peer Review and Publication Policy
After receiving the manuscript, the Editors or the Members of the Editorial Board perform the initial review. This preliminary review is made on the basis of the importance of research topic and depth of the subject-matter. If the manuscript is found unsuitable for publication by the Editorial Board members of the journal, it is directly rejected. If the manuscript appears acceptable, it is sent to the reviewers for evaluation. RBUJE follows a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy. On the basis of the reviewers’ recommendations, the manuscript is Accepted/Accepted subject to minor revision/Accepted subject to major revision/Rejected. The RBUJE aims to arrive at this initial decision within three months after the last date of submission of manuscripts followed by the date of call for papers. The changes recommended by the concerned reviewers are intimated to the corresponding author through email. The revised version of the manuscript must be submitted within two weeks from the date of intimation. The revised manuscript is examined by the same reviewers. On the basis of the reviewers’ report, the paper is either Accepted or Rejected at the final stage. The RBUJE aims to intimate the final decision within two months from the date of receipt of the revised manuscript. The Editorial Board takes the final decision on publishing a manuscript based on the recommendations of the reviewers. The Editorial Board also reserves the right to edit or to reject any manuscript submitted for publication without stating any reason to the author/s.
A Pre-Publication Author’s Disclosure Form will be sent to the corresponding author after the acceptance of manuscript. Each author will have to sign the form, and the scanned copy of the same is to be sent to the Chief Editor of the Journal at journal.economics@rbu.ac.in within a week. Copyright of published papers will rest with Rabindra Bharati University Journal of Economics (RBUJE). Each author will receive a copy of the journal that contains his/her paper.
Publication Charges
RBUJE is fully funded by Rabindra Bharati University. The Journal claims NO PROCESSING FEES at any stage of publication process.
